There’s been a lot of debate on the nthellworld forums recently about the lack of Interactive that ntl: give us on our Digital TV service. I have to admit at this point that I do not have digital TV services from any supplier (ntl, Sky or Telewest) and have only used the Interactive functions on Sky and ntl: digital boxes round friends and/or relatives houses.

The fact that it’s the time of year for Big Brother has kinda made this issue more prominent. The fact that ntl aren’t carrying the full blown Interactive 4 screen app and Sky and Telewest are.

“This was one of the big reasons that digital tv was touted to the masses. “

I just don’t see why everyone is so upset about Interactive, people are harping on about it like it’s going to change their lives, like once Interactive works their life will suddenly be a blissful summers breeze. Yeh, sure.

Personally I think the idea of Digital TV is improved picture quality and a way of delivering more channels for a diversifying audience.
