Charlotte and myself went down to London’s Hyde Park to go and see the Red Bull Flug-tag last week. It was actually quite a laugh, once we’d had a few arguments about seating arrangements and the heat, it was blaringly hot. I think that it was the most people that I’d ever seen in such a small area.

I’m not sure really how to describe the day, because it was hot, noisey and spent blitzing around London on thetube and DLR.

We saw some parachutists try to land on the platform, a team basically just run and throw their “pilot” into the water, some crazy-ass antics actually on the stage/platform area, a flying dastardly and mutley, a flying pig, and it was won by a flying Miss Piggy! ASDA’s feeble attempt was a shield that fell off the end of the platform. Obviously built by those at ASDA Oabdy.

Some other that were worthy of a note were a Pink Flamingo, A flying Elvis and to the crowd’s delight The Full Monty with Wings team. Oh… yeh, and a Noddy Holder a copter kinda thing…

Overall, it was definately a weekend that I personally enjoyed and there was enough transport to fulfill my obsession for a while.
