I appologise for the language in this post, but I’m slightly peeved off.

So, no I didn’t get a speeding fine for the one I thought I’d get in the previous entry. No, I have one for a completely different place. Same bastard van. Parked on Swiney Way, which is a 30mph road which runs past the army barracks to Tesco’s. I noticed the van, but too late and yes, I was speeding, possibly 40, I dunno. Again, though, a van with orange lights on a road not used for walking along, by a building site and with no indication of there being a van in the vicinity. I thought that was the idea of these signs?!

Anyways, I’m just fed up of the money-making schemes the Government has. Cameras on roads where there are accidents, yes. On roads where there are very few pedestrians and on the M1 the other day are plainly just there to make money.

So, along with petrol being up in the mid-eighties per litre, rising road tax, congestion charging, tolls and speed cameras, welcome to Rip-off Britain for the motorist!
