If you’ve seen the new Trey Parker/Matt Stone film, Team America:World Police, then you’ll get the header. Got to be one of the best analogies I’ve heard in a long time.
I’ve nothing to write today. Well, I say nothing. I have so much to write, so much to say but as usual the words don’t come to me. Let’s just say this will be a year of changes in my life. Big changes. It’s been a while since I last cried, not since a few Christmas’ ago. Feel like it lately. Especially when I’m alone at night. Blah, stop rambling!
I spoke to Elayne yesterday about returning to Northcliffe Retail as a store manager. I should be getting a form in the post from Kanta (she still works there, apparently) which I assume I have to fill in and then we’ll see what happens from there, but I know I can count on Elayne’s good word. There is a lot of worrying factors to consider before I jump ship, or even consider it. It will be a very tiring job, early mornings, big rounds, accountancy as I’d be a contract shop and thus paying the staff out of my own ‘pocket’ and doing VAT etc. But I mean if all the other managers can do it then I’m sure I can.
I would be upset at leaving my current employee but lately it’s been really getting me down and I just can’t afford to live away from home on the wages I’m on.
I feel I’ve grown as a team leader and also as a salesman and I think some of these could really show Mr Mullins what an excellent guy I am
Or something like that anyways. Who knows what the future holds? Here or NR… the choice is mine. :p
As an aside, yesterday was probably the first “date” Charlotte and I have been on for a good many months. *sigh*
America? Fuck YEAH!
