It always just goes wrong, huh?

pugWhy is it when you just have things sorted it all tends to go pear shaped, or is that just moi?

I had managed to get on top of money for April having paid rent, council tax, loan, minimum repayment on credit cards etc. so that I’d end up with about £50 to last me the last week until I got paid again and the whole process started again. A process which will soon be a lot better when I move to my Nan’s and pay about £500/month less money and can pay off my credit cards fully and not be overdrawn.

Anyways… the first incident was whilst doing a timed run from my Nan’s to work in the mid-morning a week ago. A pigeon comes through my window whilst I was doing 70-80 down the A46. There’s £230 gone.

Secondly, large clacking noise in my car. Turns out to be the engine mounting bracket has snapped so the enging now rocks about an inch each way which was why it was becoming increasingly difficult to change gear as the distance between the stick and the actual gearbox was changing constantly and why it felt like the whole car was moving when I was accelerating or breaking. So, the AA have fixed that with some cable ties for the time being until I can get it welded back together by the garage.

*sigh* Really was one of them weeks last week. And lack of car/money means lack of Charlotte and lack of anything decent in my time away from work so I’ve been spending lots of hours at work instead of coming home.

Anyways… I’m sure I’ll get through this month and hopefully have a month soon without a rent payment and time to start paying back my debts, clear my name and move on!

achey knees, again
