Okay, so it’s not Friday… in fact it’s almost Sunday. But I’ve had one hell of a week in which I’ve probably had an average of 2 hours of sleep per night. But it’s been worth it. I’m sure a post will follow on that later this week no doubt.

Obviously with having a strong Australian influence this week (again, more to follow!) I’ve been exposed to this song. Excellent voice. Very catchy and good to hear being sung late at night.

She is cute. She plays the piano. Pretty much enough reason for me to recommend it, but it’s very catchy. I love this song.

The band that also composed one of Bob Harris’ hourly intros. But the actual song it comes from is excellent.

Originally heard on a CD that was on Melody Maker in 1998. This song is amazing. It’s bloody hard to find a page with lyrics on for the song, so I can’t link to it.
Bowling for Soup - Val Kilmer

Bowling for Soup’s latest album doesn’t dissapoint. With an insane amount of cultural references in this album this song gets marks from me for just including the name Will Ferrel 
It’s also a good song, so download it… or buy it.
