A revolution ready to pounce

openID LogoUp and out of the house!

So, I’m always up for something technological that makes my life easier. And along came OpenID.

OpenID is a decentralized digital identity system, in which any user’s online identity is given by URL (such as for a blog or a home page) or an XRI in the latest version, and can be verified by any server running the protocol.

So, almost a one login anywhere solution. I can now post comments on LJ and various other people’s blogs without having to have accounts at all these places. I have to thank LugRadio presenter Aq for enabling it on his blog and making me read up about it. Now if only I can get the plugin working correctly on my site all other OpenID people would be able to comment and get the cool logo by their name, also giving people a link back to their blog.

All power to the people revolution, or something along that line ;)

So behind, no time!
