So, I do have a real excuse this week. I spent the back end of last week at Crishna’s watching much Lost and Jericho and buying my new car. So, I was late with my five Friday songs. I have to say I’m very impressed with myself for actually keeping it up for over two months now. Much patting of my back is in order.

Anyways, so this weeks five songs are…

I’m sure I’ve mentioned some of their other songs on here before. But I do love 3 Doors Down, it’s that kinda slow, almost depressing but slightly uplifting when you’re depressed yourself music. And luckily the majority of the stuff seems pretty applicable when you’ve just had your heart ripped out.

Sugarcult make some rocking songs, I have to say. You just can’t help but wanting to learn the guitar and to just have a good jam. And don’t we all have someone that can just kiss us and make us fall in cry and fall in love? I know I do.

A classic “broken up” song. Found this via the excellent tool that last.fm player.

Nickelback - Rockstar (Fan Vid)

I know most people always slag Nickelback off for having songs that sound the same. But, I don’t know why, I like their songs, they’re always pretty catchy. The song is about how everyone wants (or thinks) to be a Rockstar. Obviously they never met me. That would be my worst nightmare!

Another good song, although I can never quite sing the words properly. This is one of the songs that is on my CD that I have for “driving really fast when in a bad mood.” They don’t seem to of made a video for it, a theme this week (?), so I linked to a rather weird “Bike movie” fan video. Looks like England, too.
