…but it’s all gone
I’m a gadget slut, I know. But today I went to see the nice people at phones4u and I managed to twist their arm into letting me drop my contract 8 months early and get a N95 on Vodafone. So it’s so long 3 and welcome back to the big red speech mark. I wont bore you with the stats of what the N95 can do because I’m sure you’ve all read them before but it’s, arguably, the most advanced cellphone on the market currently. Yes, even above the iPhone. In fact it costs more than Apple’s overhyped touch screen phone. And the reason for that is because it packs one hell of a punch.
* 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
* In built GPS.
* Ability to use Infra Red, Bluetooth, USB, GSM, EDGE, HDSPA and WiFi for communicating to other phones, computers and peripherals.
* TV Out so you can view your pictures, movies or even the phone itself on a TV or monitor.
* Symbian S60 3rd Edition, feature pack 1.
So, it’s the dogs bollocks. Only downside is that the battery takes a battering when you’ve got WiFi, GPS and such all running. But y’know, use it sensibly
Oh, and the other bad news is that I’ve had to change my number as they wouldn’t give me the good deal unless I agreed to not port my number. I guess it costs them more and they aren’t really making much off of me? *shrug* If you want my new number then email or IM if I’ve not already SMS’d you.
In other photo related news me and TianTian went to Cheshire Oaks just before she left for the far, far East. I’m not entirely sure what it is with Chinese and brands, but they are all brand whores. In fact I would hazard a guess that the Asian/English split at Cheshire Oaks was near on 50/50. Anyways.. I was rewarded with a nice calzone from Frankie & Benny’s and a trip to the cinema afterwards to see the gorgeous (and legal, just) Hermione in HP:OOTP.
And for my next trick… Okay, well just some more photos. Harry Potter set up. Thankfully none of me dressed as Hermione
View them all at Harry Potter 7 Set
And on a defensive note. My N73’s screen was broken for the majority of time that I was taking these photos, so please don’t blame me if they look crap. Or at least crapper than my normal photos.
God makes everything, except unbreakable hearts. So I’m told.
B

Cheshire Oaks looks VERY like the outlet village near Oxford [probably under water by now!] whose name I can’t recall… What do they sell in WHSmiths? Yesterday’s newspapers or old toblerones? If it’s discount stationery, I am SO there!
And your normal photos aren’t crap, just overly retail orientated! [in the same way that I have a suspiciously large number of pics showing library shelves!].
You’re right… I must throw sentiment and ancient text messages to the wind… I need another phone!
Ahhh, but your photos are at least well exposed, well focused shots of library shelves
It’s ran by McArthur Glen who run nearly all the outlet villages in the UK so it’s pretty similar to most, just being in Cheshire it’s quite beautiful. Although, for me, the main draw is the fact that it’s got a “Leisure” part which means a nice big cinema and, more importantly, Frankie & Benny’s and other assorted eateries. WHS sell reduced stationery and books. It’s quite small, but kinda cute in a my store is better than yours way.. muwhahah…
[...] just over a year ago I fell in love with the Nokia n95. I’ve since used that phone to take upwards of 1500 photos. In all honesty due to the fact [...]
