…but they could find no trace of us.

Wow, Jericho returns now in thirteen days. Count it down… 13 days. And also sneaking up on me is Lost, making it’s long awaited return tomorrow night to US and the downloading audiences. In a time when there is absolutely FA coming from America in terms of new shows it’s such a relief to see the return of my favourite “undercover Sci-fi” series about The Island.
To get people in the mood there has been plenty of build up. The second Lost Alternate Reality game “Find815” was launched back end of 2007 and looks to finish tomorrow night. Find815 is based in the Lost universe and follows ex-Oceanic employee Sam Thomas on his quest to find the truth about Flight 815’s dissaperance and to find his beloved Sonya, an air hostess on the doomed SYD > LAX flight. It’s possibly not as cryptic as the previous game between S2>S3 which in some ways is good because it doesn’t mean trawling dozens of sites looking for hidden code.
The Find815 game has also introduced a new company, a subsidary of Widmore, The Maxwell Group. It’s another layer of mystery that surrounds the whole Widmore/Paik/Hanso/Dharma. How are they all connected, why are they connected and who is the big bad ass? I’m going for Sun’s Dad, but that would be too obvious. Maybe it’s Marvin Candle?!
As for happenings in the Lostverse the ficticious airline, Oceanic, has relaunched at FlyOceanicAir. It also put up a real world bill board poster around the US.

…which was then a few days later “vandalised” to…

Man, this is viral marketing at it’s best!
And my last Lost related thought is about the new poster that has been released for S4… Take a look at it and see if you see what I see.
…
…
Yup, that’s right… It’s a city in the reflection of the trees. Does that represent the flash forwards being held in the city? Does it mean that the main story will move to the city? Or does it mean that there is a megatropolis on the Island that we’ve just not noticed? Yeh, I thought I noticed it, right behind the polar bear mountain!
And also, everybody’s favourite ex-11 o’clock show host, Iain Lee has restarted his Lost Initiative podcast which is probably the best Lost related podcast out there. So, go to the Sky site and download the pre-Series 4 episode and keep an eye out for them after Sunday’s episodes on Sky One.
Anyway, till next time my 108 minute apart button pushing Dharma slaves…
