I wonder what it’s like to be the head honcho…

…I wonder what I’d do if they all did just what I said.

Is it right that I’m more stressed at work now I have a boss? Will it take her long to realise that Travel isn’t High Street and it can’t operate like High Street? Will I be able to actually do some of my (ever increasing) jobs when I return on Thursday? Or will we sit in a meeting with no outcome again?

Saying that, I really like the new manager. She’s very firm and has already upset a lot of the staff and shocked them into getting standards correct without backing down at all. Which makes her top in my book. But I do wonder how long it’s going to take her to get a bit more realistic with the job and let me get onto implementing the retail basics before getting into the detail. Alas, it’s been an interesting and amusing couple of days.

Anyways, after the stress that was work I decided that I needed a little walk last night and so took my camera and my lazy ass for a little walk around the village in what was a gorgeous dark blue sky. I also snapped some shots of the Mersey Wave.

And that’s why I say I live in “Halewood Village“, not “Halewood”. Snob? Me? Yes.

That’s pretty much it. Day off, maybe a hair cut, possibly avoid mentioning Tibet and definitely some shopping as I’m pretty much out food.

this could be the one last chance to make you understand

How did you take them? I drove up and down that road several times and couldn’t find anywhere to stop!

There’s quite a few places to get good shots of them.
