Yes, the numbers. Below is a work in progress of all the times that the numbers have appeared within the show. Whether this be in flashbacks or on the island itself. If you have any other times that the numbers have cropped up then please drop me an email on brett dot cook at gmail dot com.
As you know the secret numbers are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. They are a constant recurring sub-plot throughout the show and hopefully one day their significance will be revealed. For now the whole world is pondering what the hell they mean. I personally have no idea so felt that my only contribution would be to just provide the facts and let all the creative people decide what it all means. Special thanks go to Billie Doux’s excellent recaps and reviews of the show which have provided some excellent things I missed and also some laughs. Where possible I will try to give references to the episode where I spotted this so that you can check it out yourself.
Due to a lack of internet access I’ve had to stop at the start of Series 2. But since the numbers have really started taking a back seat since then I don’t know when I’ll start again. Hopefully when I get some internet access and I can download the rest of S2. B.
